《如來家書》是2016年的夏日，迂園道一方丈於花蓮和南寺大雄寶殿授講《大乘妙法蓮華經》28品的講記。
「疇昔有位老菩薩將法華七軸繫於身上，有人問：老菩薩帶的是什麼書？老菩薩答曰：家書。
家書、家書、如來家書，少年出遊不知年，今以一紙如來家書等持傳授而記之⋯⋯」透由迂園道一方丈深入淺出、簡潔清新的講課內容，令人得以一窺法華經的微言大義。
第八「五百弟子授記品」，授記擎擔，誰來原夢第七重曲，大珠和尚頓悟「我有明珠一顆，久被塵勞封鎖」，破塵即可打開大智慧經卷，大用流行！五百弟子都是佛最親信的弟子，都是能信受奉行的好學生⋯⋯我們來到藍色星球，每個人都是乘ㄧ種願力而來，授記就是要我們重新找回本真的原來的真正自己⋯⋯解開衣裡那顆光亮的智珠——後得智，會合無見頂相的髻珠——根本智，共同摧毀那無邊煩惱業的作用力。授記了，豎起那幢大菩提心標誌，朝向正確的座標!
“The Lineage of Tathagata” is a series of teachings explaining Lotus Sutra, conducted by Master Dao Yi of Yu Garden in the summer of 2016 in Vandana Monastery’s Main Hall.
[Long ago there was an old Bodhisattva who tied seven scrolls of the Lotus Sutra to his body. Someone asked him: what are these scrolls you are carrying? Old Bodhisattva replied: they are letters from home.
After leaving our original self to wander for decades, “Lineage of Tathagata” is like a letter from home, calling us to return to where we came from. It is like a map leading us to our prime nature.]

Chapter eight: Assurances for 500 Arhats
Upon his enlightenment, great Dazhu monk said: [I had the jewel with me, but the dust was covering it for a long time]. Clearing the dust away is like discovering the scroll of universal wisdom.
The five hundred Arhats are the most trusted disciples of Buddha, who truly believe in their pursuit. Upon our arrival to earth, every one of us has a primal power concealed somewhere within us. The Assurance is all about finding that power, finding your true self again. Just like the shiny jewel which has been sewed somewhere into our garment. Always with us, yet so hard to find.
The jewel symbolizes the wisdom which arrives afterward. Together with beads bun which is fundamental wisdom, they have the power to end the boundless suffering we live in. Assurance is like building a firm Buddha monument within our hearts which sets further goals and gives us the right directions.
